In Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting' glass department, a "bakehouse" for crystal has been created by Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting' glass makers, giving its name to a new concept of art-glass lighting. A five day process of creating by hand crystal spires, crystal river stones and crystal colored shards, then baking and annealing them for several days at high temperatures, forms a massive block which is then carefully polished. Bubbles and seeds formed naturally in the slow bakehouse process, add to the dynamic effect when the slabs are illuminated by hidden fluorescent light, and the entire crystal composition comes to life. Available in silver, silver leaf and bronze finishes with four different looks - Crystal River Stones, Crystal Spires, Crystal Shards Blue: Cobalt & Aqua, and Crystal Shards Neutrals: Carnelian & Citrine. Dimming is not available, because the optimum lighting effect has been chosen in the bulb specification, lower lighting levels giving off very little light and not showing the art glass to best effect. It is possible, however, to use lower wattages if desired.

It’s beautiful looks very expensive and elegant and it wasn’t hard to install. I’m missing one bulb on that pic please excuse me for that . If your double thinking it don’t it’s so beautiful you won’t regret it these pictures don’t do enough justice for it .

This fixture is absolutely stunning, it is a piece of art! I was impressed with how well it was packaged so that everything arrived in great shape. As others noted, it definitely takes time to assemble the crystal strands, but I was also impressed with the quality of the crystals, they are gorgeous, so clean, clear, and reflective. The finished product is amazing, whether turned off or on - it looks like a much more expensive fixture than what it was!! I had an electrician hang mine; he did have some issues, so I can't say that it seemed easy to install or easy to assemble, as it did take a lot of time. But SO worth it, I am in awe of just how beautiful it is, it definitely captivates your attention.

Beautiful but very flimsy....
I was excited to receive this because it really is a beautiful piece. The main issue is that the branches are SUPER flimsy and I cannot imagine that this would last long. It just seems too cheap. The crystals seem to be real and it would have been easy to install. I returned it.

Absolutely love these pendants!! They are beautiful and timeless! We used them over our kitchen island and the are beautiful! Came fast and electrician had no trouble installing. Great price as well! We have a dimming switch and it works great. LOVE!!

Took a while to hang but was well worth the time and effort. It’s really cute and gives off a subtle glow. Be prepared to get creative with the placement of the balls as it is randomized. Even though we broke one of them by mistake, there are more than enough extras in the box.
